I like it like this. I like drawings with character, a bit of play, after all it is for fun. I am sure it is really beautiful in real life. I was sorry to read about your cousin, it is hard to grasp when the loss is so needless.
I like the dresser too. Does it really have one mismatched handle? Old dressers have great character. I have one with keyholes also. I have had it since I was a little girl. It has been painted so much that the keyholes are full of pain but it does have the original glass knobs. Jeanne
